Meet Dr. Bender
Dr. Michael A. Bender has been practicing in the Elgin area for over 30 years. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in biology, he attended and graduated from the University of Illinois Dental School, then participated in a dental residency program at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital, now Rush University Medical Center. He continues his education through regularly attending seminars and classes, to bring his patients the best in modern dentistry.
Dr. Bender is a fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry and is proud to be able to offer air abrasion, an advanced technique for treating certain cavities with no shots or drilling. He received a Top Dentistry Award in 2022, as well as Best Dentist and Dental Excellence awards for 2024.
Dr. Bender’s goal as a dentist is to help his patients experience the satisfaction of optimum dental health in a safe, caring, and supportive environment.
Outside of providing excellent care to his patients, Dr. Bender enjoys fishing, golfing, hiking, and reading. He also stays busy keeping up with his 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren!
